Pole dancing is not just a superb all over body workout that can be embraced by everyone as a form of exercise, but it is also a creative art where you express yourself in anyway that you choose.
Pole Dancing requires you to use your own body as resistance, and by repeating this pattern of exercising you will produce lean muscle and be able to master more advanced moves throughout your pole journey.
Repetition, repetition, repetition! In order for your body and its muscles to remember and improve endurance we allow for plenty of repetition.
Each lesson begins with a warm-up to prepare your body for exercise. You will require a range of full body movement in your class and it is therefore an important focus to ensure your are exercising safely. You will find like many forms of dancing, Pole Dancing will allow you to become more flexible. We will encourage you to loosen up your body at a rate that you are comfortable with. Your class will finish with a relaxing cool down to ensure leave feeling invigorated.
Core strength is the strength in your abdomen and lower back. Having a strong core will help you in all aspects of your life, and will allow you to work out other muscles to create a strong fit body. Pole dancing will provide an intense workout for your core as you will learn to hold your own body weight on the pole using your arms and legs and as you progress, you will be able to invert (go upside down)!
Pole dancing is a form of Anaerobic exercise. Anaerobic exercise, is short lasting yet high-intensity activity, where your body demands more oxygen than what is available. This form of exercise will increase your metabolic rate (the rate at which you burn calories) and will continue to burn calories after you have finished exercising!

Every woman is unique and will take something very special and individual from their pole dancing experience. We aim to encourage our students to express themselves individually, rather than create a “carbon copy” army of pole dancers. With guidance we will help you to find your own inner pole dancer.
We run classes from Mon to Thurs between 6pm and 9pm, we also run a day class and can offer 121s and 221s. Each class lasts for one hour, and you will have use of your own pole in this time. You can join a pole dancing class at any time as we can cater our Pole classes to each participants level. We recommend getting in touch to see what spaces we have available. We charge £45 for a four week course, which we ask for upfront (1 hour per week). This ensures your space for four weeks. You continue to pay the £45 every 4 weeks until you say otherwise. We accept cash or an online transfer. Please contact us to find out more about private tuition.
Lots of the pole moves require bare legs in order to grip onto the pole, we would recommend that you wear shorts. You can wear summer or gym shorts, as long as the skin on your legs are bare from mid thigh down to your feet. Your shorts can be longer as long as your are able to roll them up when required. A t-shirt or vest top is suitable for your top half and we recommend either bare feet or flat shoes such as trainers or dance shoes.
Sometimes you may have to miss your lesson. It may be that you are poorly or that you are going on holiday? We ask that you contact us either via text, email or a phone call to let us know that you will not be attending class, we can then arrange a "catch-up" for you. A "catch-up" lesson is to be arranged in addition to your normal lesson time and will be valid for up to 3 months.
Aerial Hoop is a popular art form which will require an individual to perform techniques on a suspended hoop.

Stretching is natural. Have you ever noticed that if you have been sitting in a particular position for a long time, you stretch unconsciously. It feels so good! In addition to that good feeling, a consistent stretching program will produce large gains in flexibility and joint movement.
As we get older, your muscles tighten and range of motion in the joints can be minimised. Tasks that used to be simple, such as reaching for some food off of the top shelf or bending down to put your shoes on can become extremely difficult. A regular stretching program can help lengthen your muscles and make daily living easier.
Regardless of age or flexibility, everyone can learn to stretch.
Here are some of the benefits of regular stretching:
- Reduced muscle tension
- Increased range of movement in the joints
- Enhanced muscular coordination
- Increased circulation of the blood to various parts of the body
- Increased energy levels (resulting from increased circulation)
Post-exercise stretching can also aid in workout recovery, decrease muscle soreness, and ensure that your muscles and tendons are in good working order. The more conditioned your muscles and tendons are, the better they can handle the rigors of sport and exercise, and the less likely that they'll become injured.

Our Aerial Hoop classes are designed with children in mind.
Aerial hoop is becoming more and more popular and children just love to hang upside down and roll around.

Do you have a special occasion to celebrate? A Hen Party, a Birthday Party, a girly night out, a kids party? A Pole or Hoop Party is fantastic fun.
No experience is required. We can tailor your party specifically to your party group, so that everyone has lots of fun.
In your lesson you will start with a fun warm up, your teacher will then guide you through various holds, spins and moves.
At the end of the party you'll be dancing and posing like no one is watching!

We can provide a tailor-made party for your child in the theme of their favourite dance group, singer or any musical based film.

Your child and friends will learn a choreographed routine to a song of their choice or a song that is linked to their favourite dance group, singer or musical-based film.
Your child and friends will be taught by a professional, qualified and DBS checked Street Dance Teacher.

For groups of 11 to 16 people a party costs £150.

Vicky is a qualified XPERT Pole Fitness Instructor level 1&2, level 3&4 and childrens pole and aerial. Vicky was very fortunate to have worked with X Pole; worldwide leader in pole and aerial fitness and assist teach some of their XPERT courses in Godalming and Rome. Vicky was also

Vicky entered the instructor category at the UK Professional Pole Championships in 2012 and won. Vicky entered again in 2014 in the Professional category and came 4th.
Vicky presently works with a couple of local performance companies; Sugarfox Cabaret and Norte Promotions doing aerial performances for charity events.
Vicky is a qualified Exercise to Music And Street Dance Instructor and has trained in Neuro Linguistic programming.
Vicky was also an Ambassador for The Bendy Brand - company owned by Professional Pole Dancer Bendy Kate, between Aug 17 - Aug 18.
